Regent Tour Itinerary
Leave winter behind and experience the volcanic beauty of Lanzarote on this incredible walking holiday in the Canaries.
Day 1 – Manchester to Lanzarote
Morning flights from Manchester to the volcanic gem of the Canaries, Lanzarote. A short transfer of 20 mins takes us to our wonderful 4* hotel to settle in before dinner. (D)
Day 2 – Parque Natural de Los Volcanes
We explore the Parque Natural de Los Volcanes, surrounding Timanfaya National Park on Lanzarote’s west coast. Our 8km easy walk takes us through dramatic volcanic landscapes shaped by one of the island’s greatest 18th century eruptions. We also visit the spectacular Timanfaya National Park, Lanzarote’s most popular attraction. (B,D)

Day 3 – Walk From Teguise To Famara Beach
Today’s 11km easy walk begins in Teguise, Lanzarote’s former capital until 1847. Stroll through its historic cobbled streets before descending to Famara Beach, a stunning 3km stretch of sand backed by dramatic 600-metre volcanic sea cliffs. (B,D)

Day 4 – Walking The Papagayo Peninsula
Join our optional full-day excursion from Playa Blanca to the stunning Papagayo Peninsula (pre-booking required). Enjoy a 7-8km easy walk to secluded white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, with free time and lunch (own expense) in Playa Blanca. Alternatively, relax and enjoy a day at leisure.

Day 5 – North Lanzarote Walking Route
Today we explore one of North Lanzarote’s most celebrated walking routes. Starting in Maguez, our 11km easy to moderate walk crosses scenic valleys and the spectacular 600-metre-high Famara Cliffs, with views of Famara Beach, El Jable Desert and the Chinijo Archipelago. We also visit Haria, nestled in the beautiful One Thousand Palm Tree Valley. (B,D)

Day 6 – Vineyard Area Of La Geria Walk
Monday’s walk explores La Geria, Lanzarote’s unique vineyard region. Our 8km easy to moderate walk crosses striking black volcanic ash fields, revealing how local farmers adapted following the island’s 18th century volcanic eruptions. Discover the remarkable cultivation methods used to produce fruit and vines in this dramatic landscape. (B,D)

Day 7 – Day To Yourself
Enjoy a day at leisure. Perhaps stroll along the promenade at Los Pocillos, visit Puerto de Carmen, search out your perfect lunch spot or enjoy the facilities at our lovely hotel. (B,D)
Day 8 – Lanzarote to Manchester
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, before we say goodbye to beautiful Lanzarote. Taking a late afternoon flight back to Manchester airport (B)

Important Information
Regent Walking & Mobility Guided walks on this tour consist of 3 to 5 hours of easy to moderate walking over varied and undulating terrain. Although some pathways are easily navigable, some trails may be more strenuous, we make regular rest stops, to enjoy the scenery. Walking distances range between 8 kms and 11kms per day. This tour is suitable for people with a good level of fitness and stamina. All walks will be escorted by a Regent Tour Manager and an expert local guide. Our local guide will give information on all points of interest during the walking programme. All special requests such as health and dietary requirements must be given at time of booking and are not guaranteed.
