A couple of days at sea to relax and explore the fabulous facilities on Borealis
Day 4 – Matosinhos for Porto, Portugal

Day 5-6 – Lisbon, Portugal
Today we arrive in Lisbon for an overnight stay. During the summer months, enjoy exploring the city’s famous miradouros for spectacular views, or wander through Alfama, Lisbon’s oldest district. Discover its cobbled streets, rich history, São Jorge Castle and the distinctive sounds of traditional Fado music.
Day 7 – Solar Eclipse
Today, enjoy the rare opportunity to witness a total solar eclipse from the open decks of your smaller Fred. Olsen ship near the remote Azores. This extraordinary event will also be visible from Ceuta, Spain. Expert astronomers from Go Stargazing will be on board, providing fascinating commentary and insights throughout the experience.
Day 8 – Funchal, Madeira
The glorious island of Madeira, known as the ‘Garden Island’, is renowned for its abundance of subtropical flowers and plants. From Funchal, explore the beautiful gardens of Monte and enjoy scenic levada walks, offering stunning views of lush forests, flowing streams and the island’s spectacular natural landscapes.
