Regent Cruise Tour Itinerary
We’re marking 40 incredible years with a special Cruise aboard Fred.Olsen’s Balmoral! Join us as we sail to the beautiful cities of Rouen and Antwerp, surrounded by a festive atmosphere and exclusive Regent events designed just for you. You’ve been a part of our journey – now, let’s celebrate togethe
Day 1 – Embark Cruise In Southampton, UK
Meet your Regent Tour Manager and your fellow travellers this morning at Southampton. We embark the beautiful Balmoral, our home for the next 6 nights
Day 2 – Cruising the River Seine and Rouen
Cruising along the River Seine through Normandy’s Parc naturel régional des Boucles de la Seine, enjoy views of rolling valleys, historic churches and traditional villages that inspired many famous artists. Relax and take in the scenery before arriving in Rouen, where we stay overnight.
Day 3 – Rouen, France
Rouen is especially charming during the festive season, with its traditional Christmas market set before the magnificent cathedral. Browse stalls filled with crafts, souvenirs and local specialities, including cider, cheese and caramel. Also explore Rouen Cathedral, famously painted by Claude Monet and beautifully decorated for Christmas.
Day 4 – At sea
A day at sea, perhaps treat yourself to a treatment in the spa.
Day 5 – Scenic cruising River Scheldt
Today, cruise the River Scheldt as it flows from northern France through Belgium and the Netherlands. North of Antwerp, enjoy views of scenic mudflats and protected nature reserves, including the Drowned Land of Saeftinghe, rich in birdlife and unique flora. As the river approaches the North Sea, historic medieval forts come into view.
Day 6 – Disembark In Southampton, UK
Arrive back into Southampton this morning, before making our way back to Staffordshire.

Cruise Information
Balmoral is named after the Scottish residence of the British Royal Family. Thanks to her smaller size, she is able to navigate some of Europe’s most picturesque waterways. Balmoral is perfect for scenic cruising. Guests on board have plenty of space in which to relax including the alfresco Poolside restaurant and Marquee Bar.
Balmoral has several restaurant options, including the main restaurant Ballindalloch, The Grill for speciality dining and Palms Café for relaxed dining.
Cabin Facilities include: Climate control, interactive smart TV, desk, phone, mini-fridge, hairdryer and Tea & Coffee making facilities.

Important Information
Mobility Information Disabled access cabins can be requested at time of booking but are not guaranteed. On all cruises you must be able to board and disembark the ship unaided, the ship cannot assist due to liability. If you require the use of a wheelchair or scooter THIS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. Unless you can safely move around the ship independently a travelling companion would be required as our tour manager cannot assist. At many ports the use of stairs or tenders may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. It also may not be possible to participate in the programme of shore excursions.
