Sail to the sun on this breathtaking cruise. Discover historic cities, golden beaches, vibrant culture and stunning coastal landscapes on this unforgettable journey

Day 1 – UK Airports to Limassol, Cyprus

Meet your Regent Tour Manager and fellow travellers at the airport this morning for your flight to Cyprus. On arrival, transfer to Limassol and board the beautiful Balmoral, your home for the next 10 nights. Overnight in Limassol, with time to explore the city independently this evening.

Day 2 – Limassol, Cyprus

Immerse yourself in Limassol’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere. Discover the medieval castle, explore the ancient ruins of Kourion, relax on beautiful beaches, browse the Old Town’s markets, sample local cuisine, or enjoy the lively marina, blending traditional charm with modern Mediterranean elegance.

Day 3 – At Sea

A day at sea, perhaps treat yourself to a treatment in the spa, or relax on deck

Day 4 – Alexandria, Egypt

Discover Alexandria, a Mediterranean city rich in history and culture. Stroll the Corniche, visit the renowned Bibliotheca Alexandrina and explore ancient landmarks. Alternatively, journey to Giza to see the iconic Pyramids and Sphinx, combining Egypt’s legendary heritage with unforgettable sightseeing experiences.

Day 5 – At Sea

A day to relax at sea, why not treat yourself to an afternoon tea

Day 6 – Marmaris, Turkey

Discover the charm of Marmaris, where lush mountains meet the crystal-clear Mediterranean. Explore vibrant bazaars, visit historic Marmaris Castle, relax on golden beaches, or enjoy a scenic boat trip to secluded coves. You may also choose to visit the ancient ruins of Amos Ancient City nearby.

Day 7 – At Sea

A day at sea today, so why not relax in the Atlantis Spa or by the pool, or take part in one of the various activities on board.

Day 8 – Istanbul, Turkey

Situated in north-western Turkey, Istanbul is where East meets West, blending centuries of history and culture. Formerly known as Byzantium and Constantinople, it showcases ancient landmarks alongside modern skyscrapers, including the iconic Blue Mosque. Enjoy an overnight stay with the chance to admire a spectacular sunset over the city skyline..

Day 9 – Istanbul, Turkey

Wake up to sunrise over the Bosphorus and enjoy another day exploring Istanbul. Perhaps visit the famous Grand Bazaar, a maze of historic souqs beneath beautifully decorated ceilings, where you can browse jewellery, spices and ceramics while soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, rich aromas and centuries of trading heritage.

Day 10 – At Sea

Enjoy another day at sea. Take a look at the ‘Daily Times’ to see what activities are happening around the ship.

Day 11 – Athens to UK

Having long served as the gateway to Athens, Piraeus boasts an attractive marina and easy access to the Greek capital’s famous landmarks. Visit the Acropolis, Parthenon, Temple of Zeus and Panathenaic Stadium, originally built in 330 BC, before transferring to Athens Airport for your flight home with wonderful cruise memories..

Cruise Information

Balmoral is named after the Scottish residence of the British Royal Family. Thanks to her smaller size, she is able to navigate some of Europe’s most picturesque waterways. Balmoral is perfect for scenic cruising. Guests on board have plenty of space in which to relax including the alfresco Poolside restaurant and Marquee Bar.

Balmoral has several restaurant options, including the main restaurant Ballindalloch, The Grill for speciality dining and Palms Café for relaxed dining.

Cabin Facilities include: Climate control, interactive smart TV, desk, phone, mini-fridge, hairdryer and Tea & Coffee making facilities.

Important Information

Mobility Information Disabled access cabins can be requested at time of booking but are not guaranteed. On all cruises you must be able to board and disembark the ship unaided, the ship cannot assist due to liability. If you require the use of a wheelchair or scooter THIS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. Unless you can safely move around the ship independently a travelling companion would be required as our tour manager cannot assist. At many ports the use of stairs or tenders may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. It also may not be possible to participate in the programme of shore excursions.
