Regent Cruise Tour Itinerary
Cruise the Arctic and Svalbard under the Midnight Sun, encountering majestic glaciers, dramatic fjords, abundant wildlife, and Norway’s iconic coastal beauty
Day 1 – Embark In Newcastle, UK
This morning we embark the beautiful Bolette at Newcastle our home for the next 14 nights.
Day 2 – At Sea
A day at sea to relax and explore the fabulous facilities on Bolette
Day 3 – Molde, Norway
Today we arrive in Molde, a picturesque town renowned for its jazz heritage, situated on the shores of Romsdalsfjord. From here, the spectacular Atlantic Ocean Road winds for eight kilometres along dramatic coastlines, crossing the sea via remarkable bridges and offering stunning views of mountains, islands and surrounding scenery.
Day 4 – Scenic Cruising
Today, enjoy a scenic cruising day. Sail past Torghatten Mountain on the island of Torget, famous for the remarkable hole through its centre. Later, admire the dramatic Seven Sisters Mountain Range, rising 1,000 feet above the shoreline. Continuing north, we cross the Arctic Circle, a memorable maritime milestone traditionally celebrated by guests and crew alike.
Day 5 – Sortland, Norway
Known as the ‘Blue Town’, Sortland earns its nickname from the many buildings painted in shades of blue by local artist Bjørn Elvenes. Surrounded by rugged landscapes, the town overlooks waters rich in fish, seabirds, seals and whales, making it a scenic destination for wildlife and nature enthusiasts.
Day 6 – Hammerfest, Norway
Today we arrive in Hammerfest, recognised as one of Norway’s oldest towns and the world’s most northerly urban settlement. Rebuilt after extensive Second World War destruction, it is known for its colourful 1950s architecture. During summer, its far northern location allows visitors to experience the remarkable midnight sun phenomenon.
Day 7 – At Sea
Enjoy a day at sea, perhaps indulge in afternoon tea or treat yourself to a spa treatmen
Day 8 – Longyearbyen, Svalbard
Located deep within the Arctic Circle, Longyearbyen is considered the world’s northernmost town. Surrounded by spectacular Arctic wilderness, it experiences continuous daylight during the summer months and serves as the gateway to Svalbard. The region is home to reindeer, Arctic foxes and marine wildlife, offering excellent opportunities for wildlife observation.
Day 9 – At Sea
Enjoy a day at sea, perhaps treat yourself to a spa treatment or see what’s going on around the ship in your daily times.
Day 10 – Tromsø, Norway
We arrive in Tromsø today, known as the ‘Gateway to the Arctic’. One of Norway’s cultural highlights, it offers opportunities to discover Sami heritage and enjoy panoramic views from Mount Storsteinen. Surrounded by spectacular Arctic landscapes, Tromsø is renowned for its unique natural environment and stunning scenery.
Day 11 – At Sea
Enjoy a day at sea, perhaps relax in one of the lounges or enjoy the sea views from the observatory.
Day 12 – Kristiansund, Norway
Often referred to as the Atlantic City due to its proximity to the spectacular Atlantic Road, Kristiansund is known for its maritime heritage and distinctive modern architecture. The Atlantic Road, a remarkable engineering achievement, winds across small islands via eight bridges, offering breathtaking coastal scenery, dramatic seascapes and unforgettable views.
Day 14 – At Sea
Enjoy a day at sea.
Day 15 – Arrival Into Newcastle, UK
Arrive back into Newcastle this morning, for your onward journey home.

Important Information
Mobility Information Disabled access cabins can be requested at time of booking but are not guaranteed. On all cruises you must be able to board and disembark the ship unaided, the ship cannot assist due to liability. If you require the use of a wheelchair or scooter THIS MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. Unless you can safely move around the ship independently a travelling companion would be required as our tour manager cannot assist. At many ports the use of stairs or tenders may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility. It also may not be possible to participate in the programme of shore excursions.
