Embrace island life and explore peaceful harbour towns, charming railways , the iconic Laxey Wheel and much more

Day 1 – Staffordshire to Heysham for Douglas

Depart Staffordshire for Heysham this morning and board the ferry departing mid afternoon. On arrival in Douglas, the Isle of Man’s capital, we travel to Ramsey and our comfortable 3-star hotel. Enjoy free time to freshen up before gathering for our first group dinner this evening. (D).

Day 2 – Manx Electric Railway to Douglas

Today, enjoy a scenic journey on the Manx Electric Railway to Douglas, the Isle of Man’s charming capital. Explore the promenade, take a horse-drawn tram ride, browse independent shops and admire 19th century architecture. Late afternoon, return to the hotel by coach. (B,D)

Day 3 – TT Course And Tynwald Hill

After breakfast, join a local guide to follow the famous TT course, visit Tynwald Hill, the Manx Parliament and the ancient harbour town of Peel. Later, explore the former mining village of Laxey and its iconic water wheel before returning to the hotel for dinner. (B,D)

Day 4 – Snaefell Mountain Railway

Today, journey on the Snaefell Mountain Railway to the summit, 2,036 ft above sea level, for spectacular views. In the afternoon, visit the Isle of Man Motor Museum, home to over 500 vehicles. Returning to the hotel, stop at the Point of Ayre, the island’s northernmost location. (B,D)

Day 5 – Douglas to Port Erin

Head to Douglas this morning and board the charming steam railway for a scenic journey to Port Erin. Enjoy free time in this seaside resort before continuing by coach for views of the 618 acre Calf of Man, Calf Sound and historic Castletown, the island’s former capital. (B,D)

Day 6 – Douglas To Staffordshire

After an early start we arrive in Douglas for our ferry back to the mainland. Travel back to Staffordshire with a lunch stop en route. (B)
