Regent Tour Itinerary
Journey through Chile, from the Atacama Desert to Patagonia, discovering dramatic landscapes, rich traditions , and unforgettable natural wonders.
Day 1 – London To Santiago, Chile
Today we transfer to London Heathrow for our overnight direct flight with British Airways to Santiago.
Day 2 – Santiago, Chile
Arriving in Santiago this morning, we transfer to the city centre for a 2-night stay. The remainder of the day is at leisure, giving you time to relax after your journey or begin exploring Chile’s vibrant capital independently. Overnight at the Hotel Plaza El Bosque, Santiago. (RO)
Day 3 – Tour Of Santiago, Chile
Enjoy a morning tour of Santiago, including the Cathedral, Plaza de Armas and Sky Costanera, part of South America’s tallest building, offering superb views of the city and the Andes. This afternoon, travel to the Maipo Valley for a vineyard tour and wine tasting. Overnight at Hotel Plaza El Bosque, Santiago. (B)
Day 4 – Santiago to Puerto Natales
Fly from Santiago to Puerto Natales, the gateway to Torres del Paine National Park. Enjoy a 3-night stay at the Remota Hotel, beautifully situated just outside the town with spectacular views of the Last Hope Sound and the surrounding mountains. (B)
Day 5 – Full Day Torres del Paine National Park
Enjoy a full-day excursion into Torres del Paine National Park, travelling across the wild landscapes of Patagonia. Admire spectacular scenery including towering granite peaks, emerald lakes, cascading waterfalls and ancient Lenga forests, showcasing some of Chile’s most breathtaking natural beauty. Day 6 – Full Day Patagonia Boat Tour
Enjoy a full-day boat tour exploring some of Patagonia’s most iconic sights. Admire spectacular views of the Balmaceda Glacier before sailing into Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. Walk through Coihue and Ñirre forests to the base of the Serrano Glacier, then enjoy an authentic Patagonian gaucho experience at Estancia Perales. Overnight at the Remota Hotel, Puerto Natales. (B)
Day 7 – Transfers To Punta Arenas
Transfer this morning to Punta Arenas, situated on the historic Strait of Magellan. This afternoon, enjoy a tour of the city, discovering its rich maritime heritage and key landmarks. Overnight at Hotel Cabo de Hornos, Punta Arenas. (B,L)
Day 8 – Leisure Then Chilean Lake

Enjoy a morning at leisure in Punta Arenas, with time to explore the historic city centre from our centrally located hotel. This afternoon, fly to Puerto Montt and transfer to Puerto Varas in Chile’s beautiful Lake District for a 2-night stay at the Hotel Cabaña del Lago. (B)
Day 9 – Petrohue Waterfalls And Osorno Volcano
Enjoy a full-day excursion to the Petrohué Waterfalls and Osorno Volcano, two of Chile’s most spectacular natural attractions. Take in dramatic volcanic scenery and enjoy a short boat ride on Lake Todos Santos, surrounded by stunning mountain views. Overnight at the Hotel Cabaña del Lago, Puerto Varas. (B)
Day 10 – Day Of Travel To Calama
With an early start, we fly to Calama via Santiago, followed by a 1.5-hour transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Enjoy a 3-night stay at the simply appointed Hotel Le Refugio, conveniently located within walking distance of the town centre and its attractions. (B)
Day 11 – Full Day Tour
Enjoy a full-day excursion through the spectacular Atacama Desert. Visit Salar de Atacama, Chile’s largest salt flat, home to pink flamingos, and explore the ancient village of Toconao, known for its white volcanic stone buildings. Continue to a traditional farm for lunch before visiting the scenic Tebinquinche Lagoon. (B,L)
Day 12 – Excursion To The Moon Valley
This morning is at leisure. In the afternoon enjoy an excursion to the Moon Valley to see the mesmerising change of colours at sunset. (B)
Day 13 – Transfer Back To Calama
Transfer to Calama Airport for the flight to Santiago. Transfer to Plaza El Bosque Ebro Hotel for 1 night (B)
Day 14 – Return Flight To London
Transfer to the airport for our flight to London arriving next day Saturday 20th March 2027. (B)

Regrettably, this tour is not suitable for wheelchair users and may prove challenging for those less mobile. Transfers will be made by coach with steps and the itinerary involves visits to sites where wheelchair and mobility access cannot always be provided and surfaces may be uneven.
