Regent Tour Itinerary
Embrace island life and explore peaceful harbour towns, charming railways , the iconic Laxey Wheel and much more
Day 1 – Birmingham to Guernsey
Depart Birmingham Airport this morning for the beautiful island of Guernsey, located off the Normandy coast. Known for its scenic walking trails and rich history, the island offers plenty to explore. On arrival, transfer to our hotel with time to settle in before dinner. (D)
Day 2 – St Martin’s to Fermain Bay
After breakfast, walk through St Martin’s lanes to Fermain Bay on Guernsey’s rugged east coast. Follow the clifftop path to St Martin’s Point, enjoying autumnal scenery and ocean views. Stop for lunch at a nearby hotel (own expense) before returning along the coastal path to our hotel. (B,D)
Day 3 – St Peter Port to Sark
With a short drive to St Peter Port, we catch the ferry to the enchanting, car-free island of Sark. Enjoy a tractor ride into town, free time to explore, or a gentle walk with your Tour Manager across La Coupée, linking Big Sark and Little Sark. Return to Guernsey this afternoon. (B,D)
Day 4 – Petit Bot Bay
Walking from the hotel, enjoy a relaxing stroll to Petit Bot Bay, a picturesque cove with a sandy beach and wooded valleys. This clifftop walk includes several sets of steps. The afternoon is at leisure, perhaps exploring St Peter Port, Castle Cornet, Candie Garden and Victor Hugo’s statue. (B,D)
Day 5 – Sark Full Island Tour
Today, enjoy a full-day tour of Guernsey. Visit Pembroke Bay, the Folk & Costume Museum and picturesque Portelet, with optional beach or headland walks. If tides permit, cross to Lihou Nature Reserve. After lunch at Guernsey Pearl (own expense), visit the iconic Little Chapel before returning. (B,D)
Day 6 – Herm
Our coach takes us to St Peter Port, where we catch a 20-minute ferry to the peaceful, car-free island of Herm. Enjoy its picturesque harbour, golden beaches and charming pastel-painted buildings. Explore the island at leisure before returning by ferry and coach to our hotel in time for dinner. (B,D)
Day 7 – Guernsey To Birmingham
After a leisurely start to our day we travel back to Guernsey Airport for our flight to Birmingham. Arriving into Staffordshire late afternoon. (B)

Hotel Information
La Barbarie Hotel, Guernsey
One of the finest 4* hotels in Guernsey, the award winning La Barbarie is located in the beautiful country parish of St Martins. A family owned hotel, formally a 16th century priory was converted in 1950 and the old quiet charm has never left. The hotel houses 38 comfortable bedrooms. The perfect base for your holiday.
Bedrooms: Each guest room is ensuite with either a bath with shower attachment or shower room, as well as a colour TV, hair dryer, air conditioning and a beverage tray. Bath robes and slippers are supplied. Some rooms are located in a separate block.
Facilities: Enjoy dishes made from local produce in the restaurant. Relax in the lounge/bar which overlooks the terrace area. The hotel does not have a lift. Free Wi-Fi
Important Information
Walks can be lengthened or shortened according to ability, Guernsey has a great selection of coastal paths and inland walks which you can follow. Guided walks advertised consist of approximately 3-5 hours of walking per day, over varied but comfortable paths and undulating terrain. Walking distances range between an average of 3-5 miles per day.
It is possible to visit Guernsey without participating in the advertised walking programme, however you must be able to walk up and down steps, board and alite coaches/ferries unaided. There may be steps to negotiate when boarding the inter island ferries.
All special requests such as health and dietary requirements must be given at time of booking and are not guaranteed. Regent must be informed if health declines over the booking period.
